Washington Wizards player Josh Howard will receive treatment for an injured knee at the Hospital for Special Surgery, according to a hospital release.

Mr. Howard has been off the court for several weeks after a tendonitis flare up in his left knee. The incident occurred during a Jan. 5 game against Philadelphia. The time away from the court has not helped the knee heal quickly enough, and he will be seeking treatment at the Hospital for Special Surgery today.
