Deji Karim, running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, underwent successful hand surgery at the Jacksonville (Fla.) Orthopaedic Institute, according to a company news release.
Mr. Karim received surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in his right thumb. He has previously undergone surgery for his left thumb in the preseason. Mr. Karim is expected to make a full recovery.
